Mr. Bovender is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HCA, Inc. During his tenure with the company, he oversaw a prior management buyout and has played a leading role in the success of HCA’s operations. He has served on the boards of the American Hospital Association and the Federation of American Healthcare Systems. He holds M.H.A. and B.A. degrees from Duke University.
